New York Rangers Look To Continue With a Perfect Record on Their Road Trip in Calgary
After wins in Vancouver and Seattle, the New York Rangers are flying high on this road trip. With reinforcements arriving for the Blueshirts, they are getting stronger as they are in Calgary waiting to face the Flames. Calgary started the season really well but has petered out a little since. New York will be looking to ensure that the Flames cannot heat up again tonight against them and improve to 3-0 on this road trip.
Filip Chytil is in Calgary and met up with the team ahead of this game tonight. Jonny Brodzinski had been playing in his position with Will Cuylle and Kaapo Kakko on the third line. Brodzinski is expected to keep the place on that third line as Chytil is rested again, and the Rangers will be looking for more scoring from that line. They tallied twice against the Canucks, and with Mika misfiring, the bottom six must be stronger.
Igor Shesterkin will get the nod again. He was the netminder of record for that win in Vancouver as the Rangers ran out 4-3 winners. He'll be hoping for a cleaner game where he keeps the Rangers scoring requirements down to just three again. New York is unbeaten when Igor gives up two goals or less. If he can do that again tonight against this Flames team, the Rangers will be in an excellent position to take the two points.

Puck Drop
It's a 9 p.m. puck drop from Alberta as the Rangers look to continue their winning ways. Calgary can be dangerous, and the Blueshirts have to respect that. Players like Yegor Sharangovich are always capable of haunting a team. New York's difference makers will need to make themselves heard from tonight if they plan on continuing with a perfect record on this trip.
