Tonight, the New York Rangers will return to the ice as they come home to Madison Square Garden and prepare to host the Vancouver Canucks in a rematch of what has been perhaps the best Rangers game of the season so far. This is a chance to wash out the sour taste of that shootout defeat in Montreal and get back into the win column, but it will not be an easy game for the Blueshirts.

Last time these two teams met, the Rangers went on a long winning streak and beat the Canucks in Vancouver by a score of 4-3 in overtime. It was during that sensational western Canadian road trip that the Blueshirts swept with five wins on their travels out west. It was what truely sent the Rangers to the top of the Metropolitan Division standings, and towards the top of the league overall.

Nick Bonino and Jimmy Vesey will be going up against one of their former clubs as they both spent a season in British Columbia. J.T Miller will be returning to the Garden with his Vancouver Canucks. Former Blueshirt Phil Di Giuseppe will not be joining them as he is injured, but seeing Miller return is always a welcome sight after his time spent dawning the iconic Ranger logo.
