This is it folks. The moment we have all been waiting for since the start of this Olympic Tournament for the Men's hockey side. It is the gold medal game, and it features the two best teams in the world.

The United States, with two New York Rangers representing their home nation, against Team Canada. Both J.T. Miller and Vincent Trocheck will try and help the USA team win their first gold medal since the "Miracle on Ice" happened in 1980.

It will be a heated rematch of the 4 Nations Face-off championship game, in which the Canadians claimed victory. Much of the rosters remain the same, with just a few new faces for both sides that could make all the difference.

Let's get up to speed on some recent Rangers news.

Rangers News

Just days away from March, Mika Zibanejad thrives at this time of the year. His Olympic debut was outstanding, and his successful ways in "Mika March" got started a bit early as a part of Team Sweden. Can he jump back in with the Rangers and give another magical performance in a dead season?

Rangers and Team USA head coach Mike Sullivan used some history to try to inspire his troops ahead of this gold medal showdown with Canada. Hockey is regarded as Canada's game, as it is their bread and butter compared to the United States. Down south of the northern border, Baseball, Football, and Basketball reign supreme, with Hockey pushed down to being the fourth sport to enjoy for most of the country.

There is a very short amount of time between the restart to the regular season and the Trade Deadline, and the Rangers are going to be a very busy team as the "Letter 2.0" era begins. Here are three players who are likely not going to be Blueshirts anymore following March 6.
