Seeking the National Championship
No. 1 seeded Boston College scored twice in the final 1:17 of the game to claim a 3-1 victory over No. 16 seed Bentley on Friday afternoon in the NCAA Regional Semifinal at SNHU Arena, featuring Rangers prospects Gabe Perreault and Drew Fortescue on their roster.
The victory for BC improved their record to 27-7-2 this season. The Eagles only need one more win to reach the Frozen Four in St. Louis from April 10-12th.

The Eagles chose to wear their golden eagle alternate uniforms Friday. As he has repeatedly done throughout the season, Perreault was the last skater off the ice after warmups for the Eagles, taking an extra minute to work on one-timers. Both Rangers prospects were in the starting lineup for Boston College, who dominated possession, not allowing a shot against through the first 13 minutes.
Perreault scored his 16th goal this season to make it 1-0.

Perreault also nearly had his second goal of the period with under one minute to go, but Hasley was able to stand his ground. After a shot from Fortescue went wide near the buzzer, Boston College led 1-0 at intermission with a 12-4 shots advantage.
Fortescue also had an assists on BC's third goal of the night.
Headlines featuring Perreault and Fortescue should be nothing new for Blueshirt fans. In January the United States defeated Finland in overtime on Sunday night to win gold at the World Junior Championship. Perreault and Fortescue had been big contributors for Team USA all tournament long, and didn't disappoint in the gold medal game.
GOLDEN, AGAIN.
