The game remained 2-0 until 3:08 into the second period when Denver Barkey got the Flyers on the board. The Rangers headed to a power play shortly after that, but gave up a shorthanded goal to Alexis Gendron which resulted in the game being tied. Raoul Boilard put the Blueshirts back ahead over six minutes later with a tally of his own, and Bryce McConnell-Barker picked up the assist on the 3-2 goal.

Philadelphia made things level at 10:02 of the third and final frame of regulation, this time Jacob Gaucher scored for the Flyers. Things remained tied at 3-3 for the remainder of the period, and both sides prepared to play an overtime period which was over just as quickly as it started. The Flyers needed just 57 seconds to score the game-winning goal, and Nikita Grebenkin made sure the local fans went home happy.

Brennan Othmann, Dylan Roobroeck and Raoul Boilard all scored. New York's top players all generated chances but also had defensive lapses. Rematch tomorrow.
The Rangers' rookie camp participants are off on Sunday, and they return to the ice for practice on Monday, September 15th at 12:15 p.m. The final day of camp starts on Tuesday, September 16th at 11am. It will be interesting to see how many names from this camp graduate to participate in the main camp, and how things go in tonight's final game vs. the Flyers will likely play a role in that.
