It's another game day for the New York Rangers. Dallas, Texas, will be the place the Blueshirts visit with a new face on the backend, but the Rangers will be looking to try and fix a few of the ongoing issues against the Dallas Stars tonight from the Lone Star State. In a state where the Rangers were World Champions a year ago, the New York Rangers look to try and solve the questions that the recent skid has posed of this roster.
With this, it's expected that acquisition Will Borgen will make his Rangers debut. The former Seattle Kraken defenseman came across in the trade that sent Kaapo Kakko to the Pacific Northwest, and the 6'3 defenseman is looking to rebound from his slow start to the season. In New York, he'll get a fresh place to try and assert himself and address the Ranger's drastic need for help defensively.
Speaking of new defensive faces, Urho Vaakanainen made his debut in Nashville, and the Rangers could not come up with the two points to welcome the Finn to the lineup. The former first-round pick of the Boston Bruins will be looking to join Borgen in bolstering the defensive lineup of the Rangers, especially in the absence of K'Andre Miller, who continues to recover from an injury on the Rangers injury reserve. Until Miller is back, these two need to fill the hole.

Puck Drop
Tonight's game is an 8 p.m. puck drop from Dallas as the Rangers take on the Stars. Six players, including Tyler Seguin, Matt Dumba, Thomas Harley, Nils Lundkvist, and Casey DeSmith, are expected to miss tonight's clash. Mason Marchment himself is listed as day-to-day and could miss the game tonight. New York has to capitalize and take the two points against such an injury-depleted team.
