This week the FanSided network is looking back at some of the best and worst lists and moments in each team’s history. Ahead of the upcoming NHL season, here’s a look at my top five New York Rangers’ forwards heading into the 2025-26 season

1. J.T. Miller

As I’ve written before, J.T. Miller is well on his way to being named the next New York Rangers captain.

Since Miller joined the roster back in this most recent January, the Blueshirts saw a rapid uptick in offensive production.

In 32 games with the Rangers this year — Miller had 13 goals and 22 assists for 35 points with an average of just over a point per game. The reason this is significant is because it was actually the second-most behind Panarin in that period; except Miller had to jump in mid-way and adjust rapidly while maintaining this rate. This was up from the 0.88 points per game he registered when he started the year with the Vancouver Canucks

To me, there’s no offensive star that has the potential to shine brighter next year than Miller for the Blueshirts.
