However, expect this list to shrivel after the next couple of preseason games over the next few days.
Now, it’s going to be crucial for players to make a lasting impression on Alain Vigneualt and his coaching staff to ensure they are keeping the right players up with the big club.

Through two preseason games, The Swede has registered two goals and one assist, while playing at both left wing and center. And, it might be that versatility that helps him secure a roster spot on Opening Night.
In the article, Harnett quotes the Rangers prospect in his goals during his time with the club this preseason:
"I played wing for two years back in Sweden. I’ve done that before, but I see myself as a center in the bottom (six). Any spot that’s open, I’m willing to play there. I think that’s up to the coaches, to find the best formation"
Keep impressing young man. You have the eyes of the coaches on you. It’s all in front of Lindberg now.
Islanders banish team mascot from Brooklyn- NHL.NBCSPORTS.COM
First, it was the ice girls. Now, the team’s mascot is no longer going to be a fixture at Islanders games this season.
It seems the move to Brooklyn is causing a change in culture for the team from Long Island. Spark the Dragon will no longer be a part of regular season games, so he will not be annoying you when you watch the Rangers take on the islanders.

(How Sparky became the team’s mascot, or is somehow related to the team is beyond me)
However, he won’t be permanently retired. It is reported that he will still make appearances at team events on Long Island.
Break out your party hats, cause that sounds like a blast. NOT!!!!
And that’s the news worth sharing. Thanks for dropping by, and we will catch you tomorrow.
Talk to you all later!
