New York Rangers Jersey Guide 2015 – Part Two
Picking up where we left off, here’s the rest of the list ranking the most valuable New York Rangers jerseys.

11. Kevin Klein – His name was floating around with the word “trade” this offseason. It appeared that Klein could’ve been traded to free up room for a Stepan deal, but with that settled it looks like Klein is here to stay. His contract calls for three more seasons and at an inexpensive $2.9 million per year.
12. Jesper Fast – As the name implies, Fast is quick on his skates and is a perfect fit to the Rangers’ uptempo game. They’ll want to keep him when he becomes a RFA after the next two seasons and he should fit easily under the cap.

13. J.T. Miller – Just like Fast, Miller is a young and inexpensive forward that is definitely a plus to the Rangers’ game. He has yet to play a full season but that should change this time around. He’ll be a RFA before the 2016-17 season, though a bridge deal should be reached sooner than that.
14. Emerson Etem – I saw his jerseys at the NHL store in New York City last week and let me tell you, they weren’t exactly flying off the shelves. BUT, I have a feeling that they will once this sleeper shows us what he has to bring to the table. For now, he’s in the same boat as Miller as a RFA after this season.
15. Tanner Glass – His jersey isn’t particularly a popular choice amongst the Blueshirts faithful, but if you want it you’ll be able to wear it for at least two more seasons until he becomes an UFA. His stats, for the most part, bring the advanced analytics people to the brink of madness over why he’s still on the team, but coach Alain Vigneault seems to like him. Thus, who knows if Glass will stick around after the next two years?
16. Dominic Moore – The third line center has one year left in his contract and will be an UFA soon. The Rangers should be re-signing the 35-year-old for at least a couple more years, but whether or not they will is way up in the air.
17. Jarret Stoll – The former Los Angeles Kings player is a god send from the face-off heavens above. If the Rangers need one thing, it’s Stoll to clean up their performance at the dot. However, his deal is only good up to one year. After that he’ll be an UFA.

18. Antti Raanta – Our Cam Talbot replacement will be listed as an UFA next year. Raanta needs to step up to the blue paint and show New York his best if he’s going to stay. Plus, prospect Brandon Halverson is patiently waiting in the wings for his spotlight.
19. Keith Yandle – Some Rangers fans cry a single tear for Anthony Duclair whenever Yandle is mentioned, but the defenseman has really done a pretty good job here in New York. Thing is, Yandle will be an UFA next season and he’ll cost a pretty penny to keep after that – probably over $3 million. Whether he’ll be on the roster next year could go either way at this point.
20. Viktor Stalberg – Another UFA after this season, this winger will not only have to compete for an extension but for a spot on the roster once training camp starts. So it’s not a given that he’ll be getting a lot of ice time.
21. Dan Boyle – The 39-year-old is inching towards retirement and quickly approaching free agency. If he’s going to be back on the roster after this season, it definitely won’t be for much longer…you know, unless he pulls a Jagr.
22. Raphael Diaz – He’s back! The question is, though, for how much longer? The blue liner will be an UFA next year. The likeliness of Diaz getting an extension is totally unclear right now as he needs to prove that he’s better this time around with limited ice time. And like Raanta, there’s a prospect – in this case, Brady Skjei – right behind him ready to take his place.
And that’s all of them!
Then again there’s always the option to go with something more vintage. Whatever you choose, let us know in the comments which New York Rangers jersey you’re getting this year.
