#5 – Tying Up Kings

In a January match up with the Los Angeles Kings, the boys in blue were down by one early in the second period.

Pressure in the offensive zone led the puck to Klein near the blue line. He held onto it, looking for an open lane and took a long shot through traffic. With the other Kevin, Kevin Hayes, clouding up Jonathan Quick‘s view, Klein’s shot went five-hole and into the back of the net.

His goal tied the game, 2-2, and seconds later the Rangers would strike again. They eventually brought the W to New York, winning 4-3.
