#4 – When the Dot Doesn’t Matter

Down by one to the Carolina Hurricanes, a face-off loss in the Canes’ defensive zone is recovered by Chris Kreider. He sweeps the puck to Klein. Klein dumps it back in for Kreids. Kreids skates around the boards and returns play back to Klein waiting in the same spot.

The defenseman then fires away to beat Cam Ward, five-hole, to tie the game in the third period. The Rangers went on to win this one in a shootout and Klein received the first star of the game.
