Kevin Hayes

Previous Grade: A+

When Kevin Hayes isn’t scoring goals, he’s setting them up. Kevin Hayes has been collecting assists (18) at an impressive rate over his last 25 games. His point totals have climbed to 14 goals and 28 assists in 55 games this season.

After missing five games with a knee injury in late January, Hayes returned on February 7th and recorded 4 assists over his next two games. The Rangers won three of the four games after his return.

His line with J.T. Miller and Michael Grabner on the wings continues to be the Rangers’ most dynamic trio. Hayes looks to be continuing his upward trend towards becoming one of the elite centers in the NHL.

His status heading into the trade deadline must be one of the most secure on the Rangers’ roster. If that were not the case, it would take a King’s Ransom to acquire Hayes’ services.
