By Travis Novak
A fast rebuild up front.
New York accelerated its rebuild with the additions of Kaapo Kakko and Vitali Kravtsov no doubt, but they’re not the only reasons to be excited for the future of the Rangers forward group. In the 2017 NHL draft along with lias Andersson and Filip Chytil the Rangers selected center Morgan Barron. At a towering 6’2″ 195 pounds, Barron has been an immediate factor in games for Cornell University putting up 15 goals and 19 assists in the 2018/19 season.
In the recent 2019 NHL Draft the Rangers selected center Karl Henriksson (# 58) and the forward has been invited to the 2019 Traverse City tournament roster, its been speculated that the Rangers could look to sign him to his ELC to add center depth.
