#4  Ryan McDonagh (St. Paul, Minnesota)

Big Mac was a big hit during his time on Broadway.  Tough, reliable, and consistently physical, McDonagh contributed on the score sheet as well, posting  238 points (187 assists) in 516 games and 49 points in 96 playoff matches for New York.

A catalyst in the Rangers’ run to the 2014 Stanley Cup Finals, McDonagh put up 17 points in 25 games that postseason, including a helper in a 1-0, series-clinching win in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Montreal Canadiens.

Perhaps the greatest testament to his toughness occurred in the 2015 Eastern Conference Finals versus Tampa Bay when he played with a broken foot that he iced before each game.

Another bonus?  His first Rangers goal was a game-winner against the New Jersey Devils’ Martin Brodeur on April 9, 2011.  The victory clinched the eighth and final playoff seed in the Eastern Conference.
