Can they make it three in a row versus the Devils?

About the Rangers

Igor Shesterkin will be going for his third straight shutout, a feat that has been accomplished only three times in franchise history.  Lorne Chabot had four straight shutouts in 1928.   Three shutouts in a row was achieved by John Ross Roach in 1929 and then by Andy Aitkenhead in 1933.  Shesterkin currently has a shutout streak against the Devils that spans 166:56 going back to his last start in March.

Quinn did not give any indication about the rest of the lineup,but of he is true to form, he won’t mess with success and will go with the same group.  He also didn’t indicate if his swapping Vitali Kravtsov for Chris Kreider was a one period deal.

After not scoring a goal in 97 games, Ryan Lindgren will try to stretch his goal scoring streak to two games.  Lindgren reflected on the goal. “It definitely felt good. I I was getting some chances, but to finally see one go in the back of the net definitely felt good. ”
