About the Sabres

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is going to be the  starting goalie for Buffalo, making his second career start after beating the Bruins 6-4 in his NHL debut last week. He’s a 22-year-old from Finland who was drafted in the second round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.  He stopped 36 of 40 shots in beating Boston.

Believe it or not, despite the recent woes for the Sabres, they have an all-time winning record against the Rangers of  85-70-37.
