Ottawa game postponed, Chytil’s status & other news

The Kreider celly
After Chris Kreider scored the shootout winning goal, his celebration certainly looked a lot like he was making fun of P.K. Subban. Here’s the original.
Here is the Kreider version.
There’s a lot of bad blood between the two. It was Kreider who repeatedly tried to get at Subban after the Devil defenseman injured Ryan Reaves in the preseason.
If that was Kreider’s intent, there’s just one word…respect.
In an interesting note, the fact that Coach Gerard Gallant sent Kreider out for the shootout was an off the wall choice. Kreider has participated in only one shootout in his career, a miss in his rookie season in February 2013. As in the Devils game, he took the last shot in a seven round shootout, but that ended as a 3-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators. Not only that, but Kreider has been awarded four penalty shots in his career and has not scored.
Just another example of the genius of Gerard Gallant.
Kravtsov plays his second game
After scoring two goals in his KHL debut, Vitali Kravtsov played his second game with Traktor, a 3-2 overtime win over Metallurg. Kravtsov played 15:08, but didn’t register a shot and was credited with one blocked shot.
With the win, Traktor moved within one point of first place Metallurg in the KHL’s Eastern Conference.
