Life has gone on as usual for now-former New York Ranger Chris Kreider.

While at the time he was the longest tenured Rangers, general manager Chris Drury sent Kreider to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for forward Carey Terrance and a third-round pick (originally Toronto’s) in the 2025 NHL Draft. For Kreider, this meant big changes to his life as he had been a Blueshirt ever since he was drafted No. 19 back in 2009.

So, what has he been up to since he became a Duck?

Business as usual for Chris Kreider

Ahead of making the transition to Anaheim, Kreider had the 10th most points in the Blueshirts' franchise history with 326 goals and 256 assists for 582 points.

But according to Newsday, he isn't changing much from his usual offseason routine in preparation for the 2025-26 NHL season.

Kreider, A Massachusets native, is still living at his home in Connecticut, still working out at Prentiss Hockey Performance in Stamford and is going to be participating once again in the upcoming Shoulder Check Showcase.

However, he does have new equipment available to him this offseason as the Ducks have reportedly and expectedly shipped him a new set up equipment featuring their black, gold and orange colors.

Kreider has undoubtedly left his mark on Blueshirt fans but now more than ever it appears fans of the league need to prepare themselves to witness him in action as a Duck.

The next time Kreider can be seen on ice will be at the previously mentioned third annual Shoulder Check Showcase. Kreider will be playing on "Team Prentiss" against former teammates Matt Rempe, Brett Berard and Adam Fox who will be coached by Jonathan Quick.

The event will be held on July 24th at Terry Conners Rink in Stamford, Connecticut ahead of Anaheim kicking off their season on Oct. 9 on the road against Seattle.

Kreider will return to Madison Square Garden and face-off against the New York Rangers on Dec. 15th.
