Bidding adieu to Martin St. Louis and Cam Talbot?- Kenny

First off, we’d like to welcome back one of our own to BLS. Kenny was one of our previous editors and contributors to our website, but took some time off to concentrate on other matters. He’s back and has some words to share.

More from Rangers News

He tackled the hot topic of Martin St. Louis, and if he and the Rangers will be going into different directions. Also, he gives his opinion on the possibility of Cam Talbot being traded and what the team could get in return.

Trade Rumors- Jessica

Rumors, rumors, rumors?

That seems to be the word around Rangers camp, again. Specifically, Rick Nash and how his name has been tossed around at possible destinations. Despite Nash’s resurgence as a goal scorer in the regular season, the postseason has plagued the power forward. Even after improving these playoffs (contributing 14 points in 19 games), it may not be enough. Just like rumors of Cam Talbot, we will have to wait and see what the organization does with the Rangers all-star.

Ryan McDonagh isn’t going under the knife- Jay

Last week, it was reported that Ryan McDonagh did not require surgery to repair his broken foot. It was an injury he sustained in Game Four against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference Final. Head coach Alain Vineault alluded to the Rangers’ captain playing with the discomfort for some time. The willingness to play through pain and gut it out for your team is another reason why he was named the 27th captain of the New York Rangers.
